Best Man Joe

The Disney musical phenomenon that is sweeping the country now has a new star … or shall we say a ‘best’ star. Joey Boyes, from Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire, re-wrote the hit song from the film ‘Frozen’, for his friend Dominic Clark when he was asked to be his best man.

Joey said that Rebecca, the bride, loves Disney, so he spent six months rewriting and preparing himself to sing his take on the song to the happy couple on their big day. Joey’s version of ‘Let it go from frozen’, that he renamed ‘Best man Joe’, did not only go down very well with the wedding guests, but the video of him singing his own version has now gone viral on the internet. Great fun!

Joey has known Dominic all of his life and wanted ‘to do something special’ for him and Rebecca. He was pleased with the way it all went.
