PHOTOSHOOT Magazine spent the day following Miss Boss Fashion at the Fashions Finest Show at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Sunday 22nd Februray 2015 for new and emerging designers. The show was held over two days, with a total of thirteen designers, giving them the opportunity to showcase at London Fashion Week, which always looks great in their CVs.
The morning was spent backstage talking to the designers, models and creatives, who made this show come together. And, as always, there were the backstage dramas that come with all the tension and lack of sleep from staying up all night to finish off garments and make everything perfect.
The models’ hair was slightly curled but left messy and unkempt. The makeup was super natural with just a little contouring on cheeks so as not to take the focus away from the clothes.
I was happily surprised at the wonderful talent that we have emerging in London now with a wide range of looks for all body types and ages. These designers are really going places. The clothes ranged from bright, jewelled and coloured evening gowns to an all-black collection that I fell in love with. Sitting in my front row seat, I made a shopping list as long as my arm.

The final entry was a competition for Britain’s Top Designer 2015; the prize being a title, trophy and mentoring. This gave these up and coming designers a chance to compete against each other to win this prestigious award and show their industry what they could create. We were delighted that Miss Boss Fashion won the title… well done to Martine and all the other competitors.
Further behind-the-scenes action right through to the catwalk show will be published in our Spring issue.
